Air pillow film rolls are for operations that have already invested in an inflation machine and want to feed it their own custom film. Instead of buying pillows that arrive pre-inflated, you buy flat, perforated film on a roll and inflate exactly as many pillows as each shift needs, right at the machine. It is the format for shippers who think in terms of throughput and unit cost and want maximum control over their void-fill supply.

The advantage over pre-inflated pillows is efficiency at every stage. A roll of flat film is a fraction of the volume of the same quantity of inflated pillows, so it stores in a fraction of the space and ships without paying freight on trapped air. You inflate on demand, so you are never holding a warehouse full of pillows you might not use, and because the film is pre-perforated the inflated pillows separate cleanly with no fuss at the station. For high-volume lines this is usually the lowest total cost per pillow of anything we offer.

Custom print is applied down the length of the flat film before it ever reaches you, so every pillow the machine produces carries your logo automatically, with no extra step in your process. Because we run the film at a range of gauges you can match it to your specific machine and to how tough the pillows need to be, whether you are cushioning light apparel or blocking heavier goods. The rolls are also available in recycled-content and biodegradable versions if the film feeding your machine needs to meet a sustainability spec.
